THE FACILITIES

The Facilities.

We are moving away from the traditional church type building to something that is more in keeping with the Filipino culture that is comfortable and inviting to the people that we are wanting to reach. We want to have a facility that caters to our community and its outreach programs,  including meeting areas for the various ministries. Living quarters for the pastor and family and perhaps living areas for others too. The church community area will also be used for financial earning and food production programs. Everything is geared toward establishing the needs of a healthy Christian community.

People living in the facility area also helps to provide needed security from theft  by outside parties.

Desirable equipment includes,  musical instruments,  a sound system, lighting, an overhead projector  and transportation.

The facilities for most churches in the Philippines  are generally very inadequate and badly equipped.  It makes it even worse when visiting most  Filipino towns,  cities and villages  to see that the cults , Jehovah Witness,  Mormons etc.  usually have excellent buildings and  facilities, making it appear that its adherents are more committed to their message, than we Christians are.

We can provide very adequate facilities, the buildings and basic equipment from about $5000, not including the land cost. The land cost is often very cheap unless the church is being located in a busy commercial area.

The full amount is not usually needed all at once as it does take time to build a church and its community.

We encourage Western Churches to partner with a third World Church.  We would love to see partnerships being developed (in our case with Filipino Churches),  and the partnerships,  not just a missionary support item,  but a vital relationship between two,  congregations,  the pastors and leaders, so the two church bodies can pray, support and partner with each other in every way as the two churches reach out into their respected areas.  The Philippines makes this process easier as its people usually speak reasonable good English.   Modern technologies such as email,  the phone and jet airplanes also add many exciting new possibilities to this partnership.

In like manner we would love to see Western Christian families etc. each  sponsor a child.
